  • KOLACHES!

    Recipe

We only made sausage ones. (I wish I had been patient enough to add cheese at least.. ) I’ll have to do some thinking/research about sweet fillings.

They’re recognizably kolaches – which means awesome! This is really going to help my “what do I pack for lunch?” this semester – just bring a few kolaches! woo!

It took about 4 hrs (most of which was letting things rise) and made 14.

  • Those are called klobasnicky. What kind of sausage did you use? I’ll bet they were tasty!

Solo makes some really good canned fillings suitable for kolache- apricot, poppyseed, prune…mmmmmmm. I also have recipes I can send you for both ricotta and cream cheese fillings if you want them. My favorite is poppyseed, but I really like the ricotta cheese too.
