    sometimes, the need for cookies provides the energy to make cookies possible

    whole wheat s’more cookies

    Not as good as regular chocolate chip cookies. But pretty good. They do succeed at having a faintly graham cracker taste. I did leave out the mini marshmallows and nuts, because I don’t just have those things on hand. The real baking break through is that I have actually started using the suggested scoop size (those 1/4 cup cookies changed everything!) A rounded tablespoon is much bigger than I would have guessed.

    (My nod to high altitude is that I cut the bake time by 1 minute. High altitude makes the baking soda work faster.)
