  • thought organization time

today: shovelling! which is gonna suck, cause it's all been walked or driven on now. and it's windy out. stupid wind.

also, meet and greet with a possible new stats prof (thank goodness we are hiring new stats profs!)

and it's a readings class today, so there goes more of my afternoon...

due tuesday: the original analysis assignment from last week. we're probably a little more than half done

next friday: my turn to present at the readings, and the first time we don't have a two week break between sessions. I am of course, freaked. I found my Survival Analysis handouts from my independent study that probably made me into a math major (I should probably send him a nice email some time.. ) and figured out where in the library to look for books. Last week's lesson was to go get an intro book instead of hoping intro level stuff is in the literature. Not so much the case in stats I guess.

luckily, stochastic is not due again until the following week...

ooo - and just realized I can go visit an insurance agent downtown instead of having to drive in the sludge. (trying to get off our butts and do the grownup thing of getting life insurance...)

looks like a busy day - I should start shovelling!

  • Hmmm, snow sounds like fun until I hear people talking about shovelling it.
