oh analysis homework! how I have missed reading all the problems and having no clue where to start!
So in my really really hard class ( Stochastic Differential Equations) we have to present on an application for 40% of our total grade. I'm of course taking this very seriously - spent some time at the library before break, figured out how to use interlibrary loan to get another book. Yesterday I emailed the teacher to nail down a) the day of the presentation b) the length of the presentation c) tell him about my tentative topic. He tells me "most people just do a section out of the textbook." Doh. I'm such an over achiever. But since I have the books, I will try to spend some time this weekend flipping through them and decide if anything grabs me enough to take the hard road. Otherwise it's time to email the other finance-y guy and fight over sections.
Fall early registration starts next week. I figure I better go ahead and sign up to help encourage them to please please not cancel all the damn stats classes this time. And I think my analysis teacher is going to be willing to do a readings seminar on simulation. should be great!
Also, I've learned to make rugelach and we really really need to come up with a plan for the guest room floor.
